Artist & Creative Strategist
After studying Painting in Vilnius and Milan Art Academies, Akvilė Les completed a Master’s Degree in Business & Marketing and originally worked in her hometown Vilnius as editor-in-chief and co-founder of fashion & urban arts magazine, as well as one of the creative directors for a UNESCO recognized cultural heritage festival. Later, she’s spent over five years in London, working with some of the world’s best interior design creative houses, architects, and property developers.
Over the last 14 years, Akvilė has collaborated with brands and agencies in the luxury, fashion, hospitality, and arts sectors on both consumer and B2B communications. In the process, she’s created tailored PR campaigns for an extensive roster of international clients, as well as secured press coverage for some of the world’s most glamorous destinations.
With her background in arts and marketing, Akvilė creates branded illustrations, abstract art and contemporary artwork painted by lipsticks, bringing ideas to life for renowned global brands, including Moët & Chandon, Mandarin Oriental, Lipton, Selfridges & Co, Kiko Milano, and Philips.
Akvilė's art has garnered attention in the press from Business Insider, Cosmopolitan, Dazed, D la Repubblica, L'Officiel, Metro, The Cut, Stylist Magazine, and Yahoo! Style, just to name a few. She’s been recognized at Global Lithuanian Leaders’ Awards, and has spoken on merging business and creativity at various conferences such as Advertising Week Europe in London and LOGIN.
