After studying Painting in Vilnius and Milan Art Academies, Akvilė Les spent years in London, where her process has been influenced by modern aesthetics, pop culture, and her background in fashion and interiors.
TYPES OF WORK
The artist creates figurative and abstract work, as well as works with lipsticks on canvas, among other media. By reusing old, unused, and expired lipsticks, she’s exploring reducing waste and creative sustainability.
Akvilė collaborates with designers, property developers and hoteliers, helping them design art collections that are tailored to tell the unique story of each brand and location. Whether it’s a model apartment in a skyscraper or a boutique hotel tucked away in nature, our studio will work with you every step of the way - curating ideas, art creation, styling and staging, as well as media exposure.
ART FOR HOMES
We also work with private individuals to create custom fine art and add refinement and sophistication to their own spaces. From Melbourne to London, Akvilė’s paintings spark conversation and memories in homes that feel loved and lived in. Whether you're starting your first art collection or want to commission a custom piece, drop us a line and we'll be glad to answer any questions.
Today, Akvilė’s practice expands into contemporary artwork for renowned global brands, including Moët & Chandon, Mandarin Oriental, Lipton, Selfridges & Co, Kiko Milano, Magnum, and Philips. In 2020, Akvilė collaborated with New York-based PAOM and launched a capsule collection painted with lipsticks. You may check it out here.
